About Me
20+ years experience working on marketing, fundraising and photography campaigns for SME's, MNC's and non-profits including Diageo Ireland, Amnesty International, Marriage Equality, Eircom, Pavee Point, TENI, SVP Ireland and Irish Wheelchair Association. I hold a Master of Fine Art in Photography (Ulster University) and a Master of Business Studies in Marketing (Dublin City University) demonstrating both creative and business skills.
Focusing on fundraising strategies at both corporate & community level I have secured funds from large corporate funders, government departments & community grants. I have developed new campaigns and implemented strategies at various charities in order to generate additional fundraising income within the disability, poverty and LGBTQI rights sector.
I helped drive footfall and develop campaigns for Multi-National organisations achieved by a strong creative marketing background and an excellent understanding of target markets.
My photography work has been published by Amnesty International, Diageo, Transgender Equality Network Ireland (TENI), PinkNews and other non-profits/commercial organisations. Images from the project Transgender Ireland have been published in the landmark publication "Touching the Surface - Trans Voices in Ireland" and "Equality and Identity" which were produced by TENI. This new work was published by TENI as part of a landmark report on transphobic hate crimes in Ireland.
Transpose (2014) completed during the MFA in Photography at Ulster University was a collaboration with transgender people. The work grew to become an appreciation of key activists and allies in Ireland at a the time of making the work. It was important to me to have a record of the people who, up until very recently, were denied rights in our country as well as the people who were fighting for equality and advocating for transgender people. This work was published by Studio Aad in 2014 in their "Where We Are" series of photobooks. Transpose has been exhibited extensively in Ireland/UK, including being selected for exhibitions held in connection with the Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA), Yale University, Royal Hibernian Academy (RHA), PhotoIreland Festival in the Gallery of Photography and as part of the group show, INTERIM at Belfast Exposed Gallery.
